COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
I know you are all pretty busy and sometimes it's hard to put in time for community service hours. Please keep track of all the time you do put in to school shows, community events, and special activities as those hours count for service.
You can also "earn" hours by making donations to charities and participating in school charity events:
Hours can be earned by donating to the "Live Like Bella" Foundation by purchasing the socks and participating in the walk on September 29. Make sure I see you or take a picture of you and your socks out by the field so that I can sign your Service Log.
You can also accumulate hours by making donations to the Paws 2 Care Coalition. Our school takes donations such as dog food, dog toys, and dog hygiene products and gives them to assist animal shelters. Bring these donations to my room 5102 along with your Service Log so that I can give you credit.
When other events come along, check with me to see if they qualify for community service volunteering!
