HIALEAH GARDENS MIDDLE SCHOOL -- The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding middle level students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character and Citizenship. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since their beginnings in 1929.

On January 29, 2013, we welcomed visiting 5th grade students and their parents. The pride of HGMS was on display as all of the sports teams, clubs, academies, performing groups, and activities offered were represented and showcased. We look forward to seeing all of these students in the near future....next time as 6th grade students at Hialeah Gardens Middle School.
As in years past, members of the National Junior Honor Society, along with 250 other school peers, participated in the ING Marathon held in Downtown Miami on Sunday, January 27, 2013. The ING Run For Something Better® program is part of an important initiative to develop an appreciation for physical activity through running among middle school age students. The participants joined the actual marathon runners for the last mile of the race.
